Senior Group Village Headman (GVH) Chimoka admitted the problem of drug and substance abuse among youths in his area.
Patricia Nkhono, Nalinkhuli Ward Council- lor in Lilongwe North East Constituency of Traditional Authority Chimutu, admitted that the issue of drug and alcohol abuse as a big one in her area but praised MAG- GA for jostling it down.
Franson Gulura, Balang’ombe Zone TDC assistant coordinator, said they would continue to support the exploits of MAG- GA as far as their campaign on the effects of drug and substance abuse is concerned.

Malawi Girl Guides Association (MAGGA) chief commissioner, Mrs Mary Ngwale, said at Mitundu Primary School in Lilongwe that the association decided to run a campaign to sensitize communities on the evils of drug and substance abuse after a research which revealed that the tendency largely affected girls’ education and general welfare.
