Sibongire Phoya, a Form Four student at Nseche Community Day Secondary School, narrated that of all the drugs and substances she has experienced what drinking beer can be like.

It was on Christmas Day and there was a lot of beer at home because my father drinks. I drank some beer but experienced hell afterwards. I felt dizziness and vomited.

“My mother found me in bed and realized that I had drank some beer. She reprimanded me before advising me on the effects of drinking on my life as a wom- an,” said Sibongire.

Later, Sibongire said, she joined MAGGA which has totally transformed her life.

“In my life, MAGGA has helped me a lot. At first I was a troublemaker who asso- ciated with bad company.

“I have learnt a lot through MAGGA including the evils of indulging in drug and substance abuse.

“When you drink you become less intel- ligent. You become disobedient to teachers and parents,” said Sibongire.
