Mitundu Zone Primary Education Advisor (PEA) Backson Tsokonongo said there has been positive behavioural change among learners in schools since MAGGA came in.
There was a lot of unruly behaviour among learners because most of them were into drug and substance abuse but after training teachers, parents and learners on the effects of the same, there has been a positive impact.
“The learners are getting sound guid- ance and counselling from their teachers and parents on the evils of the malprac- tice,” said the PEA.
He further said that he is encouraging head teachers and teachers in his zone to enforce school rules, especially those that have clauses on drug and substance abuse.
